Hi (not so little) Lane.
It's nice to meet you.
(8 lbs 12 oz ... wowzers ... must have been the chocolate cake?)
A note on hostpital food: If the nurses advise you against eating the food ... throw thriftiness to the wind .... it's best to listen.

cutest picture ever of cole kissing lane.
i was also very very impressed that you had potato bread cooking a mere 4 days after lane was born. i think the thrifty kitchen is going to be just fine :)

Hey all,
Thanks for your nice notes about Lane's arrival! He is doing well, getting big and eating lots. Yesterday he made his first "coo" sound, closely accompanied by a the start of a smile. Yippee!
